Ogun State Police summon captures Five money sellers, recuperate N1.5m
Five people have been captured by the Ogun State Police Command for purportedly selling naira notes in various parts of the state. They were Toyin Alegbe, Kehinde Akinbode, Shoneye Latifat, Kehinde Olanrewaju and Iyanuoluwa Shokunbi.

They were captured in Ijebu Ode, Sagamu and Abeokuta amid sting activities mutually completed by the agents of the summon and authorities of Donate Car to Charity California Central Bank of Nigeria on Thursday twelfth and Friday thirteenth of April 2018.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, Sell Annuity Payment said the activity was in accordance with the arrangements of Section 21(1) of the CBN Act 2007 which made peddling, offering and manhandle of naira a culpable offense.

He said different divisions of naira notes totalling N1,560,000 were recouped from the speculates who were openly displaying their illegal exchange. The suspects, he stated, would be charged to court soon.
